This post will be updated with a number of forum guidelines over time or when necessary.
    • It would be great if you started with an introduction. This is encouraged as a way to ease in and start making new friends and connecting with existing ones.

    • Being respectful. We respect people and their opinions, and we expect others to do the same. With this in mind, we ask everyone to play nicely. Emotions and context are sometimes missed in text, please bear this in mind when debating. Use Emojis if necessary.

    • Further to the above, let's keep this place family friendly. Let's avoid politics and religion and keep this a cycad sanctuary.

    • We don't want to have to moderate the site much, but we don't want everybody to be a moderator either. We would like to encourage people to use common sense when using the site and having discussions to help avoid this.

    • Here are a few common frustrations that can easily be avoided on forums:
      • Asking the same question over and over again.
      • Please use the search function first.
      • Try ensure, where possible, your thread is well named and in the correct section.
      • Don't hijack threads, especially not for sale threads and don't complain about the price. That isn't polite.
      • Don't try to resolve issues in public. This never goes down well.
      • Don't get personal either. Nobody has come here for that.
      • Don't use other people's pictures without their consent.
    • Usernames. We know that a number of people prefer not to use their real name, and we respect that, but as a number of people may know each other, you need to decide what the best option is. Full names are not mandatory.

    • This is a public forum, with very little hidden content, although some areas require you to login in order to see them. Please bear this in mind when posting on the forum.
Expect these to be updated over time to help steer this place in the right direction. Input is always appreciated and if you feel strongly about anything, please start a new topic in the site feedback section here: Feedback

    Thanks and enjoy it,
